ISO 9000:9001

PDT has been recommended for certification under the ISO 9001:2000 standards of the International Organization for Standardization. Our certification under the ISO standards provides you the assurance that we have the skills, quality systems and commitment necessary to deliver the highest level of service.

 

ISO 13485

PDT is ISO 13485 certified, a certification specifically for design and development of medical products and related services. The ISO 13485 accreditation certifies PDT’s product design and development process through a U.S. registrar, and requires the use of procedures to regulate and control how developmental processes should be performed. This certification assures clients that quality management systems are in place to provide medical device design that consistently meets user requirements and regulatory requirements applicable to medical device design.

 

ITAR

PDT has received its registration from the Office of Defense Trade Controls Compliance of the United States Department of State providing for the business to manufacture or export defense articles or furnish defense services pursuant to the Arms Export Control Act (AECA) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) in the U.S. The registration is critical in order to participate in the provision of design and engineering services to the large US defense contractors in support of consultancy contracts.
