As the in-flight entertainment and connectivity industry grows in both offerings and prevalence, our team has been working with some of the top suppliers to those driving this movement. For instance, Alaska Airlines is one of the airlines leveraging technology brought to life with our teams’ help. The airline is upgrading to Gogo’s ATG-4 offering, powered by their ACPU-2 server, developed with our teams’ help, featuring advanced modem technology and directional antenna to speed inflight internet.
The team has also been invited to present “Designing for Upgradability: The Challenges of Developing IFEC Product Solutions in a Rapidly Evolving Market” during the education sessions. As technologies and passenger expectations continue to rapidly change and grow, designing IFEC solutions for upgradability throughout the development process and the life of the product is paramount. We plan to share real-world experiences and learnings from PDT and Telefonix’s decades of hands-on product development experience in highly regulated and complex industries.
