PDT Names our Top Trends from the 2011 North American Auto Show

TREND REPORT: We have identified the top trends from the 2011 North American International Auto Shows (NAIAS) in Detroit and Chicago. This report was compiled by PDT’s team of experienced product developers who have helped create products for some of the world’s leading technology companies.

“For product designers, the Detroit Auto Show is so interesting because it is really a barometer for what consumers will want in terms of materials, colors and use of technology,” said Gil Cavada, PDT Industrial Designer. “These companies invest in a lot of consumer research, so it’s a great indicator

of what they’re predicting consumers will want not only from their automobiles, but from their products in general.”
