Intern, User Interface

PDT is currently looking for a Visual Communications Design Intern for summer 2012.  PDT’s UX team works on projects that range from consumer electronics to medical devices.

Work will be 30 hrs/week for a maximum of 12 weeks, May-August.

Requirements:
•    Must have strong graphic design skills.
•    Strong verbal communications skills.
•    Must be able to conceptualize multiple solutions to a problem.
•    If the term “detailed oriented” scares you, please do not apply.
•    Strong command of the Adobe Creative Suite.  
•    Must have a degree or currently enrolled in a Visual Communications Design, User Interface Design program, and have at least a 3.0 GPA.
•    Must include resume/CV with work samples.

Android Developer

PDT is currently looking for embedded software developers of products and devices for defense, medical, and consumer applications.  Candidates should have embedded Linux, Android and Java skills who can bring up hardware platforms, integrate/develop device drivers, and integrate/enhance board support packages provided by IC vendors like Texas Instruments, Freescale and others.

Many of the projects require U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status.  Please inquire with your resume, application, proof of U.S. citizenship/permanent resident status, and either your hourly contractor rate or annual salary requirements.

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.  Masters degree is recommended but not required.
