PDT started the development of the newest lancing device with critical user research. Diabetics were demanding a lancer that had easy to understand visual clues to how to use it as well as a way to make the entire experience a little less painful. Our designers went to work to develop a unit that is easy to hold and clearly illustrates where the user must press or pull to operate the unit. After the design was complete, our engineers found a brilliant, magnetic solution that significantly reduces the pain the user feels when drawing blood.
