Virotek turned to PDT to design and develop PRIMOS, its state-of-the-art glucose meter, and strips. Beginning with research, the team looked at ways to create a device with features that spoke to the needs of diabetics. With an understanding of users' lifestyles, the team worked to build a device with improved visibility and reduced manufacturing costs while creating an iconic design. The team focused on implementing various research findings such as applying contrast to key areas including the display, buttons and anything the user interfaces with.
