The Intevia® Evaluation Kit (E-Kit) is an exciting hands-on tool that quickly and easily demonstrates the full features and capabilities of Intevia® intelligent fastening solutions technology.
PDT's User Interface and Software Development group worked together to create the PocketPC software for the Evaluation Kit which securely operates and monitors the status of intelligent fasteners. The status tracked can be various types of information including access identification, environment temperature and even stress.
The user interface contains sliding panels that allow the user to view and manage multiple aspects of each fastener while not navigating to additional screens. The customizable fastener system is duplicated in a visual diagram live on the screen for operation.
The E-Kit enables designers and engineers to experiment with the technology, share ideas and innovate new products and solutions.
