Qualcomm turned to PDT to redesign their tried-and-true satellite communication/information device by adding meaningful improvements to the device's functionality and feature set. The research team learned that OmniTRACS can be an incredible aid to drivers both professionally and personally, providing them with information on everything from route directions, shipping forms and schedules to personal email and communication with their family back home. Our development teams came together to create a solution that has been eagerly embraced by drivers, who in turn are pushing their employers to upgrade to the new units. Enhanced personal features like email to stay in touch with family- recommended by the team after our numerous ride-alongs- permits employers to create a more inviting workplace for new hires in what has become an extremely competitive hiring market for qualified drivers.
