PDT worked with Cobra Electronics to develop its next generation portable navigation system, the NavOne 2500. The GPS device is one of the most technologically advanced applications in today's portable navigation market. PDT’s design and user interface teams worked together to meet the unarticulated needs and desires of users that were identified by PDT’s research team. A simplified interface was developed to operate a vast array of functions, such as searching for interest points anywhere in the country from anywhere in the country, comparing different possible routes to a location, and allowing the user to navigate and pan a map intuitively. The elegant package transcends the age spectrum of this ever-increasing market, while complementing a range of automobiles.
