Countax is a UK based company that designs and manufactures Britain’s best selling range of garden tractors and ride-on mowers. Countax was designing a new articulated 4 wheel drive tractor for rough terrain and had been in development for 18 months. With product launch in 12 weeks at 3 international shows, all that remained was to design and prototype manufacture the fairings and body panels for the front half of the machine. PDT UK completed the research, initial ideas, form development, manufacture selection, ID capture in Pro/E, break of parts, design for assembly, data prep for moulding, tooling liaison, assistance with assembly and fault finding. Final products looked stunning and made all the shows in Paris, Belgium, and UK.
